Job Description

  • Contribute to CTR activities and offers, including installation and project-related studies

  • Engage in discipline and field engineering tasks

  • Oversee supplier follow-up

  • Conduct field hook-up engineering

  • Establish and manage commissioning packages

  • Develop and manage work packages

  • Follow up on installation, red mark-up documentation, and final documentation

  • Perform offshore surveys and follow-up on installation or yard stays as required

  • Coordinate and cooperate with rig crews and ongoing installation work

  • Contribute to projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget

  • Report on costs, progress, and deviations to technical lead/package engineers or project managers

 

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education

  • Additional craft certificate is advantageous

  • Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves, and process equipment

  • Flow and heat transfer calculations

  • Preliminary and detailed process design

  • Experience with project work in multidisciplinary teams

  • Active participation in HAZOP, design reviews, etc.

  • Preparation of necessary process and system documentation, including:

    • Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

    • Process/Utility Flow Diagrams (PFDs/UFDs)

    • Process Datasheets

    • Linelists

    • Heat and mass balances, simulation reports

    • Design and study reports

    • System Operation Manuals, testing procedures, commissioning procedures, etc.

  • Experience with offshore surveys and participation in system and equipment testing

  • Checking and/or approval of design documents
     

  • Conscientious about Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards

  • Committed, motivated, and result-oriented

  • Creative and constructive problem solver

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English

  • Team player with the ability to work independently

  • Extensive computer skills
