Job Description

  • Provide support to project teams and contribute to the development and implementation of work processes in the area of responsibility.

  • Ensure that all assigned tasks are performed in accordance with project requirements, specifications, and schedules.

  • Client-specific documentation, including adherence to relevant authorities' standards for each project.

  • Execute CTR activities/offers for both study and project-related work.

  • Conduct concept evaluation and quality assurance of subsea/BOP systems and equipment design.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in project work.

  • Participate in HAZOP/design reviews or other assessments as needed.

  • Evaluate the impact of modifications on system capacities, regulatory requirements, and vessel specifications.

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining mechanical documentation, including:

    • Mechanical equipment data sheets.

    • Technical requisitions.

    • Vendor documentation in compliance with Authority and requirements, ensuring delivery in line with the Supplier Document Requirements List (SDRL).

    • Material handling philosophy and maintenance procedures for subsea/BOP and X-mas tree equipment.

    • Contributions to design and study reports.

    • Develop work packages, presentations, and installation plans to ensure safe and efficient installation processes.

    • Provide input to system operation manuals and testing procedures.

  • Review mechanical documentation issued by team members.

  • Conduct offshore surveys and follow up with vendors and third parties.

  • Provide regular progress reports and assess remaining work against available hours upon request.

  • Assist clients with task specifications and follow-up activities to ensure high-quality work and documentation.

 

Qualification Requirements

  • Engineer (MSc, BSc, or equivalent) with 4-6 years of relevant experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and subsea systems, including both engineering and operational roles.

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance related to subsea BOP systems, pressure control equipment, X-mas tree equipment, and motion compensating equipment.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and expectations from governmental authorities.

  • Proficient English communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Adequate computer skills for handling technical documentation and reporting.
