Job Description
Design, calculation, and selection of electrical heat trace systems to meet project requirements.
Ensure compliance with P&IDs and project-specific solutions for heat trace specifications.
Maintain and update the heat trace engineering register with accurate project data.
Generate and manage heat trace ISO documentation using Aveva E3D.
Oversee and maintain heat trace Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
Participate in engineering and fabrication meetings to align on project needs.
Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless project integration.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Technical College diploma in a relevant field, combined with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with onshore and offshore facilities.
Ex certification (required every five years). Candidates without this certification must obtain it promptly upon hire.
FSE certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical heat trace design for both onshore and offshore projects.
Strong familiarity with relevant electrical design standards (e.g., NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, IEC).
Competency with Aveva E3D and NavisWorks software for design and project execution.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Strong collaborative skills, with a positive attitude toward working in a multicultural environment.
Independent, detail-oriented, and systematic with a commitment to deadlines and quality standards.
Proactive, able to seek advice and share experiences with team members.
