Job Description

  • Estimation, studies, engineering, and design for offshore modification projects

  • Solution and interface design in close cooperation with operations and customers

  • Electrical and Instrumentation engineering

  • Offshore surveys, FAT testing, and installation follow-up, both offshore and at yard stays

  • Prepare job cards for installations and technical specifications for suppliers

  • Coordination, mechanical completion, and commissioning support

  • Contribute to project(s) and ensure the timely and budget-compliant delivery of assigned work tasks

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering (or equivalent), with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience

  • Experience can compensate for lack of formal education

  • Additional certification in electrical, instrumentation, or automation is an advantage

  • Familiarity with rules and regulations for electrical installations on marine structures, such as PTIL, NORSOK, ATEX, IECEx, OLF, DNV, and IEC

  • Experience with modification work on fixed and mobile drilling units on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS)

  • Preferably, experience within offshore drilling, offshore wind, and green technology projects

  • Familiarity with IECEx and ATEX equipment and regulations

  • Experience with project delivery and knowledge of key customer expectations

  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards mentioned above

  • Preferable experience with software such as AutoCAD and Febdok

  • Familiarity with Equinor systems like Stid, Stidloop, and Procosys is advantageous
