We are seeking a skilled Piping Engineer!
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Piping Designer and Engineer for a position in Stavanger. The successful candidate will have a key role in designing, modeling, and delivering piping systems for major projects. You will work closely with multiple disciplines, providing technical expertise and ensuring high-quality project execution.
Job Description
Perform 3D modeling of piping systems using AVEVA, E3D.
Extract and prepare 2D drawings.
Contribute to CTR (Cost, Time, Resources) activities and offers for both projects and studies.
Extract and prepare Material Take-Off (MTO).
Manage supplier requisitions and follow up on deliveries.
Prepare work packages and ensure accurate progress reporting.
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure project alignment.
Follow up on fabrication and installation activities.
Conduct offshore surveys.
Provide As-built documentation.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience can compensate for a lack of formal education.
A craft certificate is advantageous.
Proficiency in E3D and related systems/modules.
Experience with 2D drawings in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
Knowledge of TR2000, NORSOK, TCD, and STID/ProArc.
Familiarity with PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) standards.
Experience in pipe support design and Mechanical Completion.
Competence in checking 2D drawings and providing input for project plans.
Strong focus on Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
Highly committed and motivated to deliver high-quality results.
Creative and solution-oriented with a determination to succeed.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.
Advanced computer skills.
