Job Description
Provide technical safety, process safety, and barrier management support to relevant company functions.
Conduct safety evaluations related to design, deviations, changes, and modifications for operated assets, brownfield/modification projects, Lifetime Extension projects, and development projects.
Ensure applicable risk analyses and barrier management activities (e.g., TRA/QRA, HAZOP/HAZID, SIL, LOPA, gap analysis) are performed and that design bases and assumptions are updated to reflect current regulations, standards, and engineering practices.
Raise awareness of major accident hazards and process safety barrier management across the company.
Review, follow up, and develop technical safety and barrier management documentation, such as safety strategies, performance standards, philosophies, and design bases.
Conduct offshore visits as required to follow up on relevant safety activities.
Qualification Requirements
Master’s degree or equivalent.
A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in technical safety.
Strong knowledge of technical safety and barrier management (familiarity with PSA regulations and standards such as NORSOK S-001, ISO 13702, and IEC 61508/61511).
Ability to communicate effectively and foster engagement across all organizational levels.
Proactive mindset with a drive for change and organizational improvement.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Fluency in both Norwegian and English.
Willingness and ability to travel offshore as needed.
