Job Description
Produce and revise electrical documentation and drawings (Heat Trace layouts, Light and Small Power layouts, etc.)
Develop work packages for installation
Perform electrical calculations, including short circuit, heat trace, and lighting
Order materials for installation and estimate the scope of work (SOW)
Interpret P&IDs and drawings from various disciplines
Qualification Requirements
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Technology degree with relevant trade certificates
Experience: 5–7 years within offshore-related projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
Technical Knowledge:
Familiar with standards such as PTIL, ATEX, IEC61892, and NORSOK
Experience with onshore modifications in operation
Knowledge of process and utility systems, including Main Power, Emergency Power, and UPS-supported systems
Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems used in safety systems
Proficient in engineering systems like Febdok, Pims, ProArc, STID, ProCoSys, Heat Trace calculation, Tag-systems, and Microstation is preferred
EX (22.5 hours in classroom or 6–8 hours online)
FSE (High and Low Voltage with First Aid)
