We are looking for a Field Engineer Surface and Insulation
Job Description
Monitoring contractors’ fabrication activities in surface treatment and insulation for architectural, piping, and equipment, focusing on quality, schedule, cost-efficiency, and HSE compliance.
Tracking work progress against plans and schedules, addressing areas of concern and corrective actions as needed.
Participating in engineering and construction reviews to ensure a feasible, cost-efficient outcome.
Ensuring contractor personnel qualifications meet project requirements.
Supervising inspectors in the site team and participating in audits/verification as required.
Reviewing key drawings and documentation issued by the contractor and contributing to discipline decisions
Ensuring systems and equipment are preserved and protected during construction.
Ensuring all necessary fabrication documentation is completed and deviations reported to the Construction lead.
Participating in punch-out activities and ensuring smooth handover to commissioning.
Qualification Requirements
5+ years of experience with NORSOK R-004 insulation in construction projects.
10+ years of experience with NORSOK insulation work.
Frosio level 3 certification for both surface and insulation.
Construction and hook-up experience is preferable.
Experience with architectural and HVAC insulation work during the construction phase of similar projects.
Ability to manage high workloads effectively.
