We are looking for a Commercial/Subcontract Coordinator/ Contract Advisor
We are looking for a Subcontract Coordinator to join our Field Development organization and support our expanding oil & gas project portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, ensuring contract compliance, mitigating risks, and optimizing subcontractor performance throughout project execution.
Job Description
- Coordinate relationships with subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements and establishing clear communication.
- Provide subcontract-related support and advisory services to project management and other functions.
- Conduct Subcontract Awareness sessions.
- Identify opportunities to optimize subcontractor utilization within projects.
- Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of subcontract amendments and variations (VO/VOR).
- Seek legal advice when necessary to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or Master in engineering, business administration or legal.
- At least 2 years experience with subcontracting for scaffolding, surface touch-up, insulation, architectural works on existing substations, prefabrication of structures, lifting services, weighing and load-out, and power supply is an advantage.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Demonstrate a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Work systematically, with accuracy and independence.
- Commit to meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Take a proactive approach, seeking guidance when needed and sharing knowledge with others.
- Fluency in Norwegian, both spoken and written, is essential.
