Passionate about Quality Assurance and Safety?
As our new QA Advisor, you will have the opportunity to strengthen our quality assurance team within HSEQ in Trondheim. We are seeking someone with experience in offshore operations or someone who has worked closely with key stakeholders in the offshore industry.
You will be a vital part of Altera's HSEQ function, supporting and promoting safe working practices in complex and high-risk environments. Your tasks will be varied, combining administrative support to maintain our management system with practical assurance activities.
Some of the tasks you will be working with:
- Enhance our management system.
- Plan, perform, and follow up assurance activities.
- Support our operations with compliance-related issues.
- Assist our projects in establishing operational framework.
- Monitor and analyze audit findings and other quality indicators using tools like Synergi and Pims.
- Facilitate certification processes.
- Perform QA checks on new or updated procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement processes and develop assurance methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with regional HSEQ functions.
Does this sound like you?
- Engineering degree equivalent to BSc or MSc with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Qualifications and experience as a Lead Auditor.
- Familiarity with quality standards, Flag, Class, and Shelf State regulations.
- Someone unafraid to speak up and challenge established norms.
- A strong, flexible, and proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and a working knowledge of Norwegian and either Portuguese or French.
