Job Description
Monitor and report on the performance of Contractors, subcontractors, and equipment vendors, with an emphasis on HSE, quality, and progress.
Proactively take corrective actions as needed while maintaining Contractor responsibility.
Contribute to technical solutions in coordination with engineering and commissioning teams.
Ensure timely and quality installation of equipment as per project plans.
Manage the closing of punch items and ensure verification by your team.
Maintain strong communication with the Contractor and all involved parties, focusing on interface management and coordination on-site.
Identify and handle deviations/non-conformities according to project procedures.
Transfer knowledge and experience to and from the project.
Qualification Requirements
Education: MSc/BSc in relevant engineering fields with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience related to installations and testing, preferably with thermodynamic machinery such as gas turbines and/or centrifugal compressors. Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.
Experience: A practical background in mechanical equipment installation, knowledge of international standards, and experience working with different standards for rotating equipment.
Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a background in process and automation.
Good multidiscipline understanding, particularly within the oil and gas sector.
Ability to travel and willingness to work offshore.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Personal Qualities:
Strong team player with a commercial mindset.
High focus on HSE in both personal behaviour and engineering considerations.
Ability to coordinate and interface effectively with various project stakeholders.
