In this role you will support the purchasing needs of the organization and ensure the Goods and Services are purchased from selected suppliers that meet demand requirements, technical, and quality specifications.
Job Description
- Review Purchase Requirements and specifications to obtain the required information for scope of purchase
- Provide internal stakeholders with Procurement expertise and guidance creating value for involvement in business planning efforts and operation
- Coordinate purchase activities for agreed areas from the RFQ stage until delivery ensuring that supplies are delivered on time and with the agreed technical and quality requirements
- Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations
- Actively seek to improve the Supply Chain Management of Client`s Completion Tools products and services
- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible
- Negotiate improved prices and terms of business with suppliers
- Manage supplier disputes and non-conformances
- Build, maintain and manage a strong relationship with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
Qualification Requirements
- Degree in SCM/Norwegian Association of Purchasing and Logistics (NIMA) or relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within Procurement/Supply Chain Management is preferred
- Excellent planning ability and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Technical understanding and interest
- Good negotiation, communication and influencing skills
- Fluent Norwegian and English skills, both oral and written
- Proficient in MS Office and experience from ERP systems
