We are looking for two experienced Telecom Engineers!
Job Description
Define and development of Telecom philosophy, and design solutions for Telecom sub systems including remote operations, maintenance, monitoring, and new technologies
Follow up telecom vendors and vendors technical documentation.
Interface to other disciplines, suppliers, other installations, and client
Develop and complete engineering documents and data registers
Participate and contribute to relevant test activities
Define engineering documents.
Site support to fabrication yard.
Qualification Requirements
Master, or Bachelor degree or relevant technical education.
Ex course (max 5 years old)
FSE course
Long relevant practical experience may outweigh and compensate for a lack of formal education.
Minimum 6 years’ experience from Telecom engineering and telecom system design activities within greenfield oil and gas projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
Experience and deep knowledge of telecom design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, DNVGL and IEC.
Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English.
Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
A natural team player but possess the ability to work independently.
Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others.
Innovative approach, eager to improve methodology and solutions.
Ability to understand and implement requirements stated in new standards.
