Job Description

  • Represent the company for the Area Completion and Material Handling Commissioning discipline.

  • Oversee and manage: Area completion punch-out activities, Light and sound measurements, WEAC evaluations and Personnel/goods lift and crane testing and certification.

  • Ensure timely planning and execution of commissioning activities.

  • Sign off and report status in PIMS CMS for Commissioning tasks.

  • Define commissioning milestones projects as inputs for the integrated schedules.

  • Execute commissioning activities per established procedures and plans.

  • Monitor and assess progress reports from suppliers/vendors related to construction issues.

  • Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and other HSEQ-related reviews.

  • Support the Management of Change process and risk workshops, addressing identified risks and mitigation strategies.

  • Coordinate and support construction and commissioning interfaces across disciplines.

  • Drive the development and implementation of commissioning activities..

  • Oversee the handover process from commissioning to operations for all Area and Material Handling disciplines.

  • Ensure necessary test equipment, tools, and commissioning spare parts are available.

  • Foster a positive working relationship and collaborative environment within the commissioning team and between the company and contractors at the site.

 

Qualification Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • Offshore experience in completion and start-up activities is an advantage.

  • 5–10 years of experience as a Commissioning Engineer or within relevant roles in large development projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).

  • Strong adherence to company HSE policies and quality standards.

  • Creative, proactive, and responsible, with a positive work ethic.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (proficiency in English required; Scandinavian languages are an advantage).

  • Proven ability to foster a motivational working climate.

  • Valid health certificate.

  • Offshore certificate.
