We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in either Stavanger or Bergen. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and experience in electrical engineering to help drive projects in the energy sector, with a focus on safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions.
Job Description
Prepare Technical Specifications for Electrical Systems (PRE)
Develop single line and block diagrams and cable interconnection lists
Perform electrical calculations (FebDok, heat trace, illumination, etc.)
Prepare MTO and MDL, and follow up with vendors on technical clarifications and documentation
Coordinate deliverables with other disciplines and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
Participate in design, constructability, and safety reviews
Prepare study reports and documentation for prefabrication and installation
Conduct offshore surveys and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and offshore testing (SAT) as required
Track project planning dates and milestones
Assist project management with cost estimates and project planning
Ensure compliance with company HSE guidelines and QA objectives
Provide technical solutions aimed at reducing CO2 footprints and using standard solutions where possible
Ensure that all discipline deliverables adhere to established work processes and procedures
Qualification Requirements
5-8 years of experience as an electrical engineer
Formal higher education degree in Engineering; a combination of a bachelor's degree and technical experience (fagbrev gr.L etc.) is preferred
Familiarity with prevailing regulations such as ATEX, NORSOK, and IEC
Experience with switchgear, transformers, VSDs, and electrical motors is preferred
Familiarity with ProArc and IFS is an advantage
Valid certificates: EX & FSE, Offshore Certificate, and Health Certificate
Experience with engineering in Maintenance and Modification projects
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, spoken and written
A structured and systematic approach to tasks
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and safety-conscious mindset
Solution-oriented and proactive in resolving multidiscipline challenges
