Join a Leading Offshore Electrification Project as a High Voltage Electrical Engineer in Asker!
Job Description
- Design and specify electrical system solutions for projects during study, FEED, and detailed phases.
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrification systems including land cables, subsea cables, and HV equipment.
- Manage high-voltage packages (transformers, GIS, VSD) from design to final handover to operations.
- Contribute to electrical philosophies, single line diagrams, system descriptions, and load assessments.
- Perform electrical system calculations and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualification Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering from Norwegian continental shelf projects.
- Extensive knowledge in high-voltage systems including transformers, gas-insulated switchgear, and variable speed drives.
- Experience in offshore electrification and a proven track record in conceptual and detailed engineering for large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNV, and IEC.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Team player with a cooperative and proactive working attitude.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Highly systematic, accurate, and with strong attention to detail.
