We are looking for a Project Engineer!

Areas of responsibility

General:

  • Responsible for engineering activities within the assigned discipline.
  • Have first-hand knowledge of the technical scope of work and oversee cost estimates from the tender phase to deliver the best technical solution for the project.
  • Utilize the client’s PLM system tool (TeamCenter) according to internal guidelines.
  • Follow the client’s internal standards, relevant contract-specific standards, Master Document Register (MDR), Change Management system, and other key elements of the project model within the contract frame.
  • Collaborate within and across engineering teams and disciplines.
  • Contribute to information sharing between projects, during engineering, production, and installation phases (e.g., Lessons Learned).
  • Support and contribute to improvements/changes within the organization.
  • Support system and competence development, including training within the business group and all units.
  • Act as a QHSE role model and report cases/incidents using the Synergi Life tool.
Tender:
  • Support the tender group with a focus on technical requirements/solutions, MDR proposal, IDC, and risk evaluation.
Project Execution - Engineering:
  • Ensure that assigned engineering is delivered according to MDR, contract, and internal guidelines.
  • Attend Pre-Production Meetings (PPM) and process start-up meetings, both internal and external.
  • Attend PVU meetings if required.
  • Provide regular engineering status updates to the Lead Engineer (e.g., weekly engineering meetings or other forums).
Project Close-Out Phase:
  • Prepare as-built documentation.
  • Contribute to lessons learned and provide input to the project throughout and after completion.
Leadership:
  • Facilitate DIC/IDC processes.
  • Take ownership of tasks and provide guidance and clear feedback to the Lead Engineer/discipline.
  • Be open and share relevant information within the project team.
  • Support and motivate team members.
  • Be a good role model for the team.

Key Interface:

  • Manufacturing plants and operational units
  • Management/project representatives from the client and stakeholders as required
  • Operational and supporting departments in the business group (TAS, MED, R&D, Discipline, Tender, Internal and external laboratories, GRID, etc.)
  • Other units dependent on projects

Expected Results:

  • Ensure that the professional level of services is aligned with project and contract needs and requirements.
  • Effectively manage time between assigned tasks and/or projects.
  • Contribute to process improvements and motivate team members.
  • Ensure project execution is in accordance with best practices.
  • Contribute to keeping the technology up-to-date with industry practices and regulations.
