**Technical Asset Manager Job Description**

**Role Overview**

My client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Asset Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in optimising portfolio availability, supervising critical processes, and ensuring efficient on-site operations and maintenance. Reporting to the Head of Technical Operations, you will be responsible for coordinating projects, managing subcontractors, and leading a team of Technical Asset Managers and Field service engineers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure compliance with technical and operational obligations, including Health and Safety regulations.
  • Coordinate projects and manage subcontractors to ensure timely completion and high-quality delivery.
  • Optimise portfolio availability by monitoring and analysing asset performance, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Oversee critical processes such as maintenance and repair, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Collect, analyse and model asset data across various types and sites, with a focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Head of Technical Operations and other stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a team of Technical Asset Managers and Field service engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

**Experience and Qualifications**

  • 3-5 years of experience in the renewable energy or a related field, preferably with ambitions to be part of a leading BESS organisation.
  • A degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to handle large volumes of data, provide in-depth analysis, and demonstrate numerical rigour.
  • Proven experience in the energy industry, with a focus on Battery Storage.
  • Proficiency with office systems and data analysis tools, such as Excel and Power BI, will be beneficial.
  • Proactive and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to adding value to the team and the organisation.
  • Experience in team leadership and management.
