Job Title: HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver
Location: Cardiff, Wales
Employment Type: Temporary, Temp to Perm available
Working Hours: Monday to Friday Days 0600-0700 starts, average 10-11 hour days
Salary: £15.00ph plus £1.81ph rolled up holiday pay
MDE Group UK LTD are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers to join our clients established team based in the Cardiff area.
This is a temp to perm role.
Your role will essentially be shunting trailers to be loaded multiple times per day mainly but other duties may be required like taking vehicles for repair and some possible days out on the road.
Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of tacho use and working time
Daily vehicle checks ensuring any issues are reported immediately
Load security is paramount to this role.
Good customer service
Previous shunting experience would be advantageous.
Qualifications
- UK HGV Class 1 Licence held for 2 years minimum
Max 6 points with no major endorsements (DD/DG/DR/IN/TT/CD/UT)
Valid Tacho
Valid CPC
