Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Magor, Caldicot
Employment Type: Temporary, Weekly bookings
Working Hours: 0500-0800 starts Saturdays and Sundays. Length of shift determined at booking.
Salary: £19.25ph-£22.00 plus rolled up holiday pay available at £2.58-£2.96ph
MDE Group UK LTD are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Weekend Drivers to join our clients established team based in the Magor area.
Job Description:
Class 1 Chilled, Frozen or Ambient work on store deliveries. Previous experience preferred
Use of a manual pump truck will be required to unload.
Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of tacho use and working time
Daily vehicle checks ensuring any issues are reported immediately
Load security is paramount to this role.
Previous chilled/frozen delivery an advantage
Full induction to be carried out prior to assessment which will be mainly online.
Good customer service
Qualifications
UK HGV Class 1 Licence with 6 months experience required
Max 6 points with no major endorsements (DD/DG/DR/IN/TT/CD/UT)
Valid Tacho
Valid CPC
