Role overview

As the individual who reports directly to the Project Director, your role will involve overseeing the effective management of communications, relationships, and deliverables across three or more interfaces between construction and supply contracts. Additionally, you will work in collaboration with the Owners Engineer, who is responsible for the design interface, to ensure coordination between the different packages. This includes reviewing constructability and identifying potential issues ahead of construction, in order to facilitate the smooth delivery of the overall works programme.

Responsibilities:

* Identifying, reviewing, monitoring, and tracking design and construction interfaces.
* Ensuring timely resolution of project interfaces throughout the project life cycle, utilizing tools such as BIM.
* Coordinating technical interfaces between project design and construction teams.
* Reviewing design interface details and capturing agreements in construction contract documents.
* Managing mega infrastructure projects from design to construction stage.
* Leading interface meetings and teams to capture design requirements in construction contracts.
* Anticipating and preventing design and construction problems.
* Managing overall project interface management, including quality, cost, safety, and environmental issues, and ensuring timely scheduling of key interface dates.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hold a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.??????
• Possess substantial experience in managing large-scale civil and infrastructure engineering projects.
• Well-versed in infrastructure, roadworks, drainage, utilities work, and familiar with authorities and agencies requirements.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and coordinating project interfaces for renewable and significant infrastructure projects.
• Display aptitude for thriving in fast-paced environments and proactively contributing as an integral part of a committed team.
• Strong skills in managing people and effectively dealing with various stakeholders at the local level.
• Worked collaboratively in teams with relevant experience in utilities and civil infrastructure projects within the same industry.
• Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgment and analytical skills in navigating the complex and diversified nature of the role.
• Extensive expertise in management, leadership, team building, communication, conflict resolution, and presentations.
• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.uring timely scheduling of key interface dates.
