MDE is recruiting a Maintenance Technician for our client, a leading automotive manufacturer specializing in high-quality gearboxes and transmitters. This temporary position offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a brand-new site equipped with state-of-the-art automated systems. Job Details for Maintenance Technician:
- Hours: 07:30 am - 5:15 pm Monday to Friday, with early finish (half day) on one day between Monday and Thursday
- Weekly pay
- Overtime available
Key Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery and robotic systems to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly to maintain production flow.
- Preventative Maintenance: Carry out scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance to prevent production delays.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and company standards in all maintenance activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting (experience in aerospace engineering/manufacturing is a plus but not required).
